Furniture and product designer Zeren Saglamer designs Grill II, a half solid surface and half cage-like table. A thin black iron frame cleanly cuts the square shape, whose solid surface comes in faux marble. The “grill” side is not only visually interesting but also uniquely functional, as books can be displayed hanging on the bars by the spine instead of just laid out as they would on an ordinary coffee table.
